Role Overview - Insights Analyst II (Central Publishing & Portfolio Insights) Client: Global gaming and entertainment company Pay Rate: $78-85/hour Work Model: Hybrid preferred β€’ Local candidates to Santa Monica / Los Angeles are ideal β€’ Not required — strong non-local candidates will be considered Interview Process: ~3-4 rounds On-Call: None Role Overview The Insights function supports data-informed decision-making across a global, player-focused organization by illuminating the behaviors, experiences, and needs of users worldwide. This interdisciplinary group brings together analysts, scientists, consultants, and strategists to help leaders make better strategic, operational, and financial decisions through data. As an Insights Analyst II supporting a central publishing and portfolio insights team, this role focuses on leveraging large-scale data, KPI frameworks, experimentation, and competitive intelligence to influence decision-making across multiple products and teams. The analyst will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including global localization teams and a Los Angeles-based player platform organization, to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and guide prioritization at a portfolio and cross-product level. This is a highly visible, decision-facing role that requires strong analytical depth, comfort operating in complex environments, and the ability to clearly communicate insights and recommendations to senior leaders. Key Responsibilities β€’ Aggregate, analyze, and interpret large-scale product, player, operational, and financial datasets to support strategic and operational decisions β€’ Design, implement, and evolve KPI frameworks to measure performance and support recurring business and leadership reviews β€’ Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools that enable teams to self-serve insights and track performance over time β€’ Partner with stakeholders across product, operations, finance, and publishing to translate business questions into structured analytical approaches β€’ Communicate findings, insights, and strategic recommendations clearly and confidently to senior leaders and decision-makers β€’ Design and conduct experiments to test hypotheses and evaluate performance impact β€’ Perform market and competitive research to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that inform planning and prioritization β€’ Support global and distributed teams, including localization partners, with regionally informed insights β€’ Identify opportunities to improve analytics workflows, tooling, and efficiency, including automation and enablement initiatives Required Qualifications β€’ 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business strategy, management consulting, or related quantitative fields β€’ Candidates with fewer years of experience may be considered with a strong PhD or equivalent research background β€’ Experience designing and scaling KPI frameworks and experimentation systems in complex or matrixed organizations β€’ Applied experience with advanced analytical and statistical techniques, such as significance testing, clustering, regression analysis, and related methods β€’ Hands-on experience working with large, complex datasets β€’ Proficiency with Databricks (required) β€’ Strong working knowledge of SQL or Python (one is sufficient) β€’ Experience building and maintaining dashboards using Tableau β€’ Strong presentation and communication skills, with experience presenting insights to leadership Desired Qualifications β€’ Familiarity with AI/ML-driven analytics or automation for workflow optimization and enablement β€’ Graduate degree in analytics, statistics, engineering, or a related quantitative discipline β€’ Experience supporting global or distributed teams β€’ Gaming or entertainment industry experience (nice to have, not required) Information collected and processed through your application with INSPYR Solutions (including any job applications you choose to submit) is subject to INSPYR Solutions’ Privacy Policy and INSPYR Solutions’ AI and Automated Employment Decision Tool Policy: https://www.inspyrsolutions.com/policies/.
