Hybrid 4 onsite / 1 work from home in Greenwood Village, CO
Our client seeks an experienced Insights Engineer to analyze business requirements, define analytics for new product features and acceptance criteria, manage delivery, and validate solutions. The role blends business analysis, data analysis, and validation. You will leverage qualitative and quantitative data to understand customer experience, write complex user stories in Jira, define and track metrics, and translate user data into actionable insights. You will oversee test analytics, monitor error rates, and partner with development and QA to plan, execute, and document testing, using AI-assisted tools responsibly to accelerate analysis, requirements, and test coverage while validating outputs.

Responsibilities
• Elicit, analyze, and document comprehensive business and user requirements.
• Develop process flows, use cases, and analytical artifacts to support solution design.
• Write complex Jira user stories that capture product feature needs.
• Define acceptance criteria, acceptance tests, and analytics requirements for each user story.
• Serve as product owner for the analytics SDK backlog and represent requirements for new capabilities.
• Prioritize features, refine requirements, and ensure end-to-end delivery with development teams.
• Use AI-assisted tooling to accelerate drafting, grooming, and documentation with human review.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets including video-product usage analytics.
• Design and implement reporting dashboards and use analytics tools to uncover insights.
• Apply AI/ML-driven analytics and natural-language query tools to surface patterns and trends.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate functionality and quality.
• Leverage test analytics to track trends, monitor errors, and support high-quality releases.
• Partner with developers to troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Use AI-assisted test generation and analysis to broaden coverage and speed triage with validation before sign-off.
Experience Requirements
• Experience in a hybrid business analyst, product owner, and/or data analyst role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Proven experience using Jira to write complex user stories.
• Experience in quality assurance and software testing practices.
• Nice to have: proficiency with Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
• Nice to have: experience with AWS Athena, Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar.
• Nice to have: comfort with AI-assisted tools and prompt construction.
• Nice to have: video analytics experience and event instrumentation.
