Role description
Data & Reporting Business Analyst – Insurance (Actuarial Exposure) 6 Month Contract | £500–£550 PAYE + Holiday | Hybrid Robert Half are supporting a global consulting firm to bring in an interim contractor as an Associate to support delivery across a number of insurance organisations on data and reporting transformation initiatives. The engagement sits within a structured Business Analysis delivery environment, where strong governance, requirements traceability, structured workshops and formal sign-offs are key to the programme delivery approach. We are looking for a strong Business Analyst with a data and reporting background, ideally someone who has worked closely with actuarial teams or actuarial data within insurance environments. Assignment Details • Rate: c. £500–£550 per day via PAYE plus 12.07% holiday pay • Contract: Initial 6-month engagement • Location: Hybrid working – City of London: Minimum 2 days per week onsite Key Responsibilities • Facilitate structured workshops with business and technical stakeholders • Define and document data and reporting requirements • Maintain requirements traceability and governance documentation • Work closely with data, reporting and actuarial teams to support delivery of data products • Support programme governance through clear documentation and formal sign-off processes Key Experience Required • Strong Business Analyst experience within structured delivery environments • Experience producing traceable requirements, documentation and structured workshop outputs • • Background delivering data platforms, reporting solutions or data transformation programmes • Exposure to actuarial data, actuarial reporting or actuarial teams within insurance • Experience with Snowflake, SQL or modern data platforms • Insurance industry experience essential This role will suit a Data or Reporting Business Analyst within insurance who understands actuarial data and reporting processes and is comfortable operating within a structured consulting delivery environment.
