Role description
Position: Integration Analyst (FHIR) Location: RemoteContract: 12 Months W2 only Candidates with employer please do not apply Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Integration Analyst (FHIR) to join our healthcare technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing solutions that enable seamless data exchange across healthcare systems using Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, consistent, and secure interoperability of healthcare data. Key Responsibilities Analyze and interpret healthcare data in alignment with FHIR standards to support interoperability between diverse systems. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into FHIR-based integration solutions. Design, develop, and implement FHIR resources, profiles, mappings, and implementation guides. Work closely with engineering teams to integrate FHIR APIs and data models into healthcare applications and data platforms. Perform data mapping, transformation, and normalization to maintain data integrity across systems. Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting of FHIR interfaces to ensure compliance with industry and organizational standards. Provide technical support for FHIR-related initiatives, resolving integration and data exchange issues efficiently. Stay current with the latest FHIR standards, frameworks, and implementation guides to drive innovation and compliance. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, workflows, and implementation guidelines. Promote FHIR best practices and interoperability standards across the organization through collaboration and knowledge sharing. Qualifications Proven experience working with FHIR, HL7, or similar healthcare interoperability standards. Strong understanding of healthcare data exchange and EHR/EMR systems. Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and data integration tools (e.g., Mirth Connect, Postman). Familiarity with healthcare integration platforms such as AWS HealthLake, FHIR servers, or HAPI FHIR. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
