Job Description:
Weβre looking for a detail-oriented and proactive IVVQ Software Engineer to support the testing and assurance of complex systems with advanced user interfaces. In this role, youβll be part of a collaborative team working on high-integrity software in a secure environment. Youβll play a key role in validating system performance, ensuring a high standard of quality, and helping to shape how we test and deliver mission-critical solutions. This position is well-suited to someone empathetic who enjoys thoughtful problem-solving, values strong documentation, and takes pride in improving processes and outcomes. Must to have skills:
β’ 5 days a week onsite.
β’ Ability to obtain SC Clearance with no caveats, or already in possession of this.
β’ Strong experience testing complex systems, particularly those with advanced or user-sensitive UI/UX.
β’ Solid understanding of formal testing methodologies and test lifecycle processes.
β’ Hands-on experience with Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira) or similar project/test management platforms. At least 5 yearsβ experience in software testing or verification roles.
Desired Skills:
β’ Background in software development with knowledge of C++ or Java.
β’ Experience working in Linux environments, including writing or using Bash scripts.
β’ Strong technical documentation skills and attention to detail.
β’ Familiarity with Agile methodologies and iterative development approaches.
β’ Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
β’ Understanding of virtualisation and containerisation technologies.
β’ Appreciation of IP networking protocols.
β’ Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins and JFROG Artifactory
