Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Integration/API Engineer with over 10 years of hands-on experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable integrations across enterprise systems. This hybrid contract role requires deep expertise in API development, event streaming, and real-time event-driven processes. The ideal candidate excels in a collaborative, cross-functional environment and can independently deliver complex integration solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement API-based integrations across multiple enterprise systems.
Engineer and maintain real-time event processing workflows for automation and monitoring.
Optimize data flows and integration pipelines to ensure reliability, scalability, and high performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Document integration architectures, data flows, and operational procedures for internal teams.
Ensure compliance with ITSM processes and related platform standards.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in API design, integration, and event-driven architectures.
Strong expertise in event streaming technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar platforms.
Proficiency in programming and scripting languages (Python, Java, Shell, etc.).
Experience with data flow optimization, monitoring, and observability tools.
Solid understanding of ITSM processes and platforms.
Proven ability to work independently and deliver complex integration solutions on time.
