Interface Analyst II

Summary:The Integration Analyst II supports the goals and objectives of the Technical Integration Team, the Information Services Organization, and the broader enterprise. Under moderate supervision, this role is responsible for interpreting customer requirements and translating them into detailed messaging specifications for application integration. The ideal candidate possesses strong knowledge of healthcare messaging standards, understands industry data formats, and can produce accurate gap analysis documentation. This role also requires the ability to translate technical findings into clear business terms for non-technical stakeholders. Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, develop, and deliver technical integration solutions. Partner with project teams on customer-specific initiatives involving message exchange, translation, and integration development to resolve communication and data transformation challenges. Assist team members in troubleshooting issues related to message transformations and data flows; analyze customer messaging specifications and deliver gap analysis documentation. Develop and maintain documentation for ongoing reference, training, and support. Communicate with customers and vendors to clarify messaging format requirements and ensure alignment. Create translation plans to support the movement of development work across multiple environments. Provide support for integration and system testing activities as needed. Knowledge & Skills: Knowledge of clinical and financial healthcare messaging workflows. Proficiency in healthcare integration data formats (HL7, EDI, CSV, XML, etc.). Strong attention to detail with proven analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong written documentation skills. Ability to build effective working relationships across diverse teams. Process- and project-oriented mindset with a high degree of intellectual curiosity. Experience: Experience integrating data to and from Epic systems. Minimum of 2 years integrating messaging between healthcare systems (e.g., EMRs, applications, third-party systems). Minimum of 5 years of IT experience in technical analysis, design, and integration implementation. Minimum of 2 years of experience working with relational databases, Transact-SQL, and SQL stored procedures (or comparable database technologies). Minimum of 2 years of experience using Microsoft Office applications with emphasis on Excel, Word, and Visio. Experience with tools such as Diplomat, Microsoft SSIS, Informatica PowerCenter, or IBM Integration Bus is a plus. Current Epic Bridges certification is strongly preferred.
