Role description
Role Profile Job Title: Interim Assets Data Management Lead (up to 12 months) Salary: £45,091 - £48,226 (depending on experience and/or qualifications) Annual Leave: 30 days per annum Role Overview:As the Asset Data Lead, you will be responsible for the quality, integrity, and accuracy of all housing-asset data across the Arm’s Length Management Organisation (ALMO). You will lead a small team of data administrators and collaborate closely with IT, Asset Strategy, Compliance, and Finance teams. Your role will involve ensuring that data across PIMSS & Open Housing systems are up-to-date and trusted. You will also assist the Asset Data Specialist as required Key Responsibilities: Data Strategy & Governance: Assist in designing a roadmap for data maturity improvements and developing a new Data Management Plan Data Quality & Systems Management: Oversee the integrity of the central Asset Register, support system optimizations, and implement automated validation routines Team Leadership & Stakeholder Collaboration: Line-manage a small team, promote a data-driven culture, and liaise with various departments to ensure asset information meets operational and regulatory needs Insight & Continuous Improvement: Create ad-hoc dashboards and reports, support strategic projects, and maintain data integrity Essential Skills: Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel Strong analytical skills with experience in data management tools Knowledge of asset management principles in housing Understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance in the social housing sector Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights for non-technical audiences Desirable Skills: Knowledge of predictive analytics and asset management systems Experience working within an ALMO, Local Authority, or other social landlord Understanding of building components and lifecycle planning Experience with data migration projects Training or certification in data analytics, Power BI, or SQL If you feel this is the role for you, please follow the apply button and visit our website to read the application pack.
