Interim Finance Data Analyst (Hybrid) - Contract to Hire

Our Vaco Brentwood team is seeking an interim payroll data analyst to support our Payroll team. This is a position that requires someone local, as it is 4 days on-site in our office in Maryland Farms (remote on Friday). This data analyst serves as a key resource for data validation and data analysis for our Payroll team. This includes leveraging Excel and SQL to extract, validate, and transform HRIS data (time and attendance, hours, premiums, adjustments, etc.) for the final payroll file before payroll processing. This person will also build and maintain KPIs/dashboards, data modeling exercises, automation, and partner with stakeholders on an as needed basis. Requirements: • 5+ years in an analyst role with heavy Excel + SQL usage. • Excel expert: nested formulas, INDEX/XMATCH, SUMIFS, dynamic/array formulas, PivotTables, Power Query; comfortable with data models and large/linked workbooks. • Proven experience supporting accounting and/or finance functions • SQL: ability to join large datasets, create views/CTEs, window functions, and aggregate queries. • Must be willing to commit to 3+ months on an interim basis (we are open to contract to hire!) • Ability to be on-site in Brentwood, TN up to 4 days a week If you have proven experience as a senior analyst, please apply today!
