Role description
Interim Global Procurement Analyst Inside IR35 Central London – 3 days per week (Hybrid) Up to £400 per day We are supporting a global organisation undergoing a significant procurement and data transformation as they look to appoint an Interim Global Procurement Spend Analyst (temp to perm). This role is central to building out and enhancing the procurement analytics capability, improving data visibility, and strengthening commercial reporting across the function. Working closely with the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) and wider procurement leadership team, you will help shape and develop a more mature, insight-led analytics function. Your work will directly influence category strategy and sourcing decisions across IT, Professional Services, and wider indirect spend. This is a high-impact, hands-on role, ideal for someone who can start quickly, operate in ambiguity, and help build a scalable analytics capability within a transforming global procurement function. Why this role is exciting • Opportunity to help build and shape a procurement analytics capability from the ground up • Blend data analytics with commercial procurement influence • Support strategic sourcing and category decision-making with high-quality insight • Deliver tangible impact across cost savings, efficiency, and risk mitigation • Work within a globally visible procurement function with senior stakeholder exposure Key Responsibilities • Conduct global spend analysis to identify trends, risks, and savings opportunities • Support development of a more structured procurement analytics capability and reporting framework • Build and enhance Excel and Power BI dashboards to deliver clear, actionable insight • Cleanse, manipulate, and interpret large and complex data sets to improve data quality and consistency • Partner with category managers and procurement leads to inform sourcing strategy and decision-making • Present insights and recommendations in a clear, commercially compelling way to senior stakeholders • Support continuous improvement of procurement reporting, tools, and data processes What we’re looking for • Strong Excel and Power BI skills, with experience handling complex datasets • Background in procurement analytics, sourcing, or category support, ideally across IT or Professional Services • Experience in indirect procurement environments is highly desirable • Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing decisions • Ability to translate data into commercial insight and actionable recommendations • A proactive mindset with experience improving or building reporting / analytics capability • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment (transformation exposure desirable) This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded procurement analyst to play a key role in building a best-in-class procurement analytics capability within a high-profile global organisation.
