As our reporting capability has evolved over time across multiple client and operational requirements, we are now looking to further standardise, enhance and modernise our reporting environment to improve scalability, consistency, usability and long-term sustainability.
We are seeking an experienced Interim Reporting & BI Consultant to support a review and redevelopment of both our client and internal reporting capability.
This is a highly visible, hands-on role with significant opportunity to shape reporting best practice, improve reporting maturity and deliver meaningful operational improvements across the business.
The Role
The successful individual will work closely with operational stakeholders and leadership teams to review existing reporting processes and outputs, identify opportunities for improvement, and design and implement scalable, high-quality reporting solutions that support both operational delivery and strategic decision-making.
The role will combine reporting transformation, stakeholder engagement, data analysis, process improvement and documentation, helping create a more sustainable and scalable reporting framework across the business.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Review and evaluate current client and internal reporting processes, outputs and data flows
β’ Identify opportunities to improve reporting consistency, scalability, usability and governance
β’ Design and implement enhanced reporting solutions, dashboards and MI outputs
β’ Improve automation, efficiency and reporting reliability across multiple systems and data sources
β’ Work closely with stakeholders to define reporting requirements, KPIs and operational priorities
β’ Simplify, standardise and enhance reporting structures and processes where appropriate
β’ Strengthen data quality, reporting logic and operational reporting controls
β’ Create clear documentation, reporting logic and operational processes to support long-term sustainability and handover
β’ Provide recommendations around tooling, automation and reporting best practice
β’ Support the transition of reporting processes into ongoing operational ownership within the business
Skills & Experience
β’ Strong experience delivering reporting transformation or BI improvement projects
β’ Advanced experience with Power BI and Microsoft reporting technologies
β’ Strong SQL and data analysis capability
β’ Experience working with multiple data sources, integrations and operational systems
β’ Strong stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering skills
β’ Experience improving and standardising reporting environments within growing or evolving organisations
β’ Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capability
β’ Comfortable operating independently and driving delivery
β’ Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
β’ Strong documentation and process-mapping capability
Experience working within HR, recruitment, outsourcing or workforce solutions environments would be highly beneficial, particularly familiarity with recruitment, HR and operational service delivery metrics, KPIs and reporting requirements.
