Robertson Bell are supporting a Central Government department to recruit an interim Strategic Reporting Analyst on an initial six-month contract. This role will require sporadic travel into a regional office, which are typically found in most major UK cities.
This role will work closely with teams across corporate and operational areas of the organisation to identify and establish fit-for-purpose metrics to assess actual delivery against strategic objectives outlined in the organisations business plan.
The Strategic Reporting Analyst will be responsible for:
• Collaborating with stakeholders across corporate and operation areas to review existing data, KPIs and reporting to assess suitability and integrity for the purpose of this work.
• Work with stakeholders to challenge existing metrics and suggest new metrics based on suitability, data integrity and integration capabilities.
• Reach an agreed set metrics of metrics to be integrated into a dashboard/suite that will be created by a specialised corporate team.
• Work with the specialist team to ensure the specification is met.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Have a background working a strategy or reporting team, with analytical mindset and data-centric approach to work.
• Experience working in a Central Government or Criminal-Justice related organisation -such as the Police.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
You must be eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC Level or above) and willing to undergo clearance, if not already held.
