In accordance with 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(2)(C) NO C2C We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Intermediate AI Cloud Engineer to support the development and deployment of AI and machine learning solutions in a secure cloud environment. This role will work across data engineering, generative AI, and DevSecOps practices to build scalable, cloud-based AI services using AWS technologies. Ideal candidates will have a solid foundation in programming, cloud infrastructure, and AI/ML frameworks, with hands-on experience in deploying AI models and maintaining secure, compliant data systems. Key Responsibilities: AI & Generative Model Development: • Develop and implement AI/ML solutions using generative models such as GPT, Llama, Claude, and HuggingFace libraries. • Use deep learning frameworks like PyTorch and Transformers to train, evaluate, and optimize models. • Contribute to AI innovation efforts by applying Generative AI techniques to real-world business problems. Cloud & Data Engineering: • Build and maintain scalable, secure data pipelines and storage systems using AWS data services (e.g., S3, Redshift, DynamoDB). • Utilize AWS AI services (Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, Rekognition, Comprehend, Transcribe) to accelerate model deployment. • Collaborate with DevOps and data teams to manage infrastructure for AI workloads, including data lakes and cloud analytics platforms. DevSecOps & Automation: • Contribute to secure, repeatable deployments through CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes. • Follow DevSecOps best practices to ensure compliance with cloud security and governance standards, including FedRAMP and FISMA. Team Collaboration & Support: • Work with cross-functional teams to interpret business needs and implement AI solutions that align with strategic goals. • Support training efforts and knowledge-sharing workshops to promote adoption of AI tools across internal teams. Basic Qualifications: • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in AI/ML, data engineering, or cloud development. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar. • Experience with cloud platforms and tools, particularly AWS AI and AWS data services. • Familiar with Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and GitLab for infrastructure and code management. • Strong understanding of data governance, security principles, and government compliance policies (FedRAMP, FISMA). • Experience implementing DevSecOps practices and working within CI/CD pipelines. • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team. • As a requirement of this position, all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen.
