β’ Experience documenting technical processes and workflows clearly
β’ Intermediate Excel skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
β’ Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs)
β’ Experience with SAS programming
β’ Experience in the Banking or Financial Services industry
β’ Exposure to GitHub or version control tools
Job Description:
This role supports the Liquidity team within the Finance division of a major banking client based in Chicago. This team is currently trying to migrate the back end of liquidity measurements, streamline the data, and allow it to be used by AI. They are currently preparing for AI Machine Learning and need to get the data stream ready to go. In the future, they will be moving to a new data warehouse framework overall, so they are currently preparing the coding and infrastructure. The Senior IT Analyst will work with the team to migrate SAS code to Python, using the LLMs (Large Language Models). There are a large number of programs that need to move over so it is a broad effort. The team is currently focused on:
β’ Migrating backend liquidity measurement systems
β’ Streamlining data pipelines for AI/ML readiness
β’ Preparing for a transition to a new data warehouse framework The Senior IT Analyst will play a key role in:
β’ Converting legacy SAS code to Python
β’ Leveraging LLMs to assist with code migration and validation
β’ Ensuring consistency between legacy and new processes
β’ Supporting infrastructure readiness for future AI initiatives
