Role description
Duration: 12+ Months Location: MN-Maplewood, 100% Remote Overview: Every Turnberry consultant belongs to a practice, an internal group of consultants and leaders with shared experience and expertise. Each of these practices aligns to one of the core services Turnberry offers to clients. As an IT Analyst, you will join Turnberry's Data Strategy and Intelligence practice and service. This service provides insights into company data, advanced analytics solutions, robust data governance, and tailored solutions for specific data challenges. Responsibilities β€’ Design, develop, test, and publish ad hoc reports on Power BI as requested by management team and provide analysis of these reports on data visualization tools β€’ Analyze and extract large data sets with multiple data types to identify trends using SQL or scripting languages such as ο»ΏPython or R β€’ Write queries, create data architectures, and prepare data on Snowflake for reporting tool ingestion β€’ Conduct data reviews for technical gaps and collaborate with Quality Teams, Regulatory teams, and IT teams to resolve them β€’ Collaborate with business and Master Data Management teams to ensure tools and data support Healthcare Business Group requirements β€’ Work with individuals at the global sites to determine reporting requirements within the scope of the digital transformations β€’ Gain understanding of and continue to support data analytics policies and procedures β€’ Support training for divisions and functions to ensure proper use of tools and metrics related to Quality Management System β€’ Assist Data and Analytics team in cloud data migration β€’ Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards Qualifications β€’ Bachelor’s Degree or higher in computer science, engineering, statistics, business or finance from an accredited institution β€’ Three years of work experience in data science, business analytics, business intelligence or comparable data analytics field β€’ Three years of experience with data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI β€’ Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization Preferred Qualifications β€’ Master's degree in computer science, Mathematics, Finance or Statistics β€’ Five years of experience in a data reporting, data engineering, or business intelligence role at a tech company β€’ Experience conducting large scale and complex data analysis to support business decision making β€’ Three years of experience in data mining and data preparation using scripting languages β€’ Proficient understanding of data warehousing and data modeling techniques β€’ Understanding of machine learning models and AI workflow is a plus The salary range for this role is $80,000 to $160,000 or the hourly equivalent.
