IT and Data Systems Manager

Position Summary The IT & Data Systems Manager oversees NSS’s Association Management System (YM), website integrations, data analytics, and technical workflows. This role maintains infrastructure that supports membership, fundraising, events, advocacy, and communications. This is a hands-on role with no direct reports; ideal for candidates who enjoy independently executing and managing their own work. Key Responsibilities Administer and optimize the YourMembership (YM) system, including member data, reports, forms, groups, and automations. Provide technical support to staff and volunteers on YM workflows, event registrations, and email systems. Maintain and update API integrations (e.g., NASA FCU, Congress Plus, payment systems). Build dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support decision-making. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with privacy and security policies. Support website updates and troubleshooting as needed. Work with Membership Manager on list management, segmentation, and performance reporting. Identify process improvements and digital upgrades that improve operational efficiency. Maintain effective implementation and upkeep of payment systems and support Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in data management, computer science, or related field. Experience with Association Management Systems (AMS) strongly preferred. YourMembership more preferred. Proficient in SQL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, APIs, or related technologies. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally. Background check required Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year Benefits: Flexible schedule Work Location: Remote
