Location: Columbia, SC (Hybrid/4 days onsite per week)
Candidate MUST be a SC resident or willing to relocate to SC prior to starting the role at their own expense.

Project Overview:
We are in the second year of a five-year project aimed at enhancing and expanding an existing Ruby on Rails application. The project focuses on building new features, improving system functionality, and integrating innovative solutions to meet evolving client needs.
The selected developer will contribute to both front-end and back-end development, collaborating closely with clients and the project team in an agile, fully remote environment. Weekly meetings will be held to review requirements, demonstrate completed work, and ensure smooth communication.
Role Summary:The Technical Business Analyst supports and improves HR systems by analyzing business processes, identifying enhancements, and optimizing SAP ECC functionality. The role involves system testing, documentation, reporting, and user training while ensuring data integrity, compliance, and efficient collaboration across HR, IT, and Finance teams.
Key Duties:
Analyze and document HR business processes; recommend SAP-based improvements.
Support system configuration, testing (unit, integration, UAT), and implementation.
Develop and maintain system documentation, reports, dashboards, and training materials.
Collaborate with HR, IT, and Finance teams on process improvement and project execution.
Ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with IT and cybersecurity standards.
Manage project documentation, status reporting, and stakeholder communication.
Required Skills:
ยท 3+ years of experience with HRIS systems.
ยท 5+ years of experience with state HR/payroll processes, data privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA, FLSA), and regulatory compliance frameworks.
ยท 5+ years of experience in creating user guides, SOPs, process diagrams, and technical documentation.
ยท 5+ years of experience in reporting, dashboard creation, and data visualization.
Preferred Skills:
ยท Experience with SAP SuccessFactors
ยท Experience with industry standard information security practices (PII, PHI)
ยท Previous experience working with State or Federal Government
