IT Financial Data Analyst
2 year contract with possible extension with possible conversion
4 days Onsite , 1 day remote at Akron OH
Requirements:
• Strong understanding of both:
• Financial domain
• IT/Technical side
• Candidate should be located in or willing to work in Akron, Ohio.
• Good technical background with a solid understanding of finance.
• Experience in:
• Financial reporting
• Finance-related data analysis
Key Skills
• SQL
• Key Metrics / KPI Reporting
• Databricks (Preferred)
Project Overview
• Project budget: Approximately $400 million
• Candidate will:
• Analyze balance sheet data
• Work with/calculate financial data
• Enter and maintain data in the system
• Perform coding/technical analysis as required
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in business analysis, finance analytics, BI, or data engineering roles.
• Strong finance acumen with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis experience.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, SQL, Power BI, and Excel.
• Proficiency in Python/Pandas.
• Strong communication skills with ability to present to business leaders and executives.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
