IT Service Management Engineer (W2 Contract) Location: Eagan, MN | Hybrid (2 days onsite) Employment Type: W2 Contract (not open for C2C, through end of 2025) About the Role We are seeking a skilled IT Service Management (ITSM) Engineer to join our team through the end of 2025. In this role, you’ll play a key part in configuring and automating ITSM tools and workflows to optimize service delivery and operational efficiency. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical expertise, the ability to work with stakeholders across the business, and a passion for improving IT service processes. What You’ll Do • Design, document, and configure ITSM solutions aligned with organizational needs. • Automate workflows and processes to drive efficiency and scalability. • Collaborate with business stakeholders to optimize workflows and deliver innovative ITSM solutions. • Integrate ITSM platforms with enterprise systems and cloud services. • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members. • Monitor ITSM KPIs and metrics to identify opportunities for improvement. • Support occasional after-hours or weekend work as part of on-call rotation. What We’re Looking For Required: • 3+ years of ITSM experience (professional, educational, or transferable skills considered). • Strong knowledge of ITSM tools and processes (Team Dynamix, ServiceNow, Jira, or similar). • Proven ability to design and automate workflows. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Experience collaborating with diverse business and technical stakeholders. • Familiarity with cloud computing technologies and DevOps practices. Preferred: • Expertise in CMDB management (CI relationships, service/application dependency mapping). • Familiarity with Device42 Software. • Experience in hybrid infrastructure environments (cloud + on-premises). • Basic SQL reporting and data analysis skills. • Strong background in ITSM integrations and automation. • Experience with AI and automation for process streamlining.
