Job Summary (Iterable Platform Developer)
β’ Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Iterable platform
β’ Proficiency with Smart Ingest features and API calls in Iterable
β’ Iterable certification preferred, but not required
β’ 3β5+ years in software development, especially with data-driven applications
β’ Strong SQL skills (Select/Insert/Update/Delete, multi-table joins)
β’ Experienced data modeler with relational databases
β’ Knowledge of JavaScript, JSON, and XML
β’ Familiarity with HTML, MJML, CSS, and responsive email coding is a plus
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent work experience
β’ Experience building customer journeys within marketing automation platforms
β’ Background in marketing platforms and campaign orchestration tools (e.g., Adobe Campaign, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Marketo) is advantageous
β’ Agency experience and client-facing experience preferred
β’ Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Core Responsibilities
β’ Develop a thorough understanding of client business needs and available data for campaign solutions
β’ Translate business and technical requirements into solutions for cross-channel campaign execution (email, SMS, push, in-app, etc.)
β’ Support the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns within Iterable and related platforms
β’ Act as the technical subject matter expert (SME) for internal and client teams, assisting with troubleshooting and training
β’ Assist Platform Architects with platform configuration, development, optimization, and best practice enforcement
β’ Perform campaign QA, testing, and deployment support for developers and campaign specialists
β’ Collaborate with project management to manage workflow and deadlines across multiple simultaneous projects
β’ Support senior team members during project estimation and platform discovery phases
β’ Assist internal execution teams with ongoing platform, workflow, and template optimizations
