Java AI Data Training – Tech Quality Lead

Job Summary: Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards in AI training? Jupiter AI Labs is looking for a Java Tech Quality Assurance Lead to uphold exceptional quality in our AI data training projects. This position blends hands-on work with cutting-edge AI systems and the responsibility of maintaining high-quality Java content—perfect for individuals who are passionate about both technology and precision. You will play a crucial role in guaranteeing the accuracy, reliability, and efficiency of our AI training processes, ultimately contributing to the success of our projects. Education & Background: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Technical Skills: • 5+ years of professional Java experience, with a strong focus on code quality, code review, or technical evaluations. • Strong command over Java programming, debugging, architectural patterns, and evaluating code for robustness, readability, and maintainability. • Experience with LLM training, data annotation, or AI training projects—preferably in QA or lead roles. Soft Skills & Competencies: • English proficiency: C1 level or higher for documentation, async communication, and collaboration with global teams. • Analytical mindset: Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and weigh solution options. • Attention to detail: Ability to deliver high-quality output independently with accuracy and consistency. • Leadership mindset: Comfortable guiding others, providing feedback, and ensuring the trainer/QA community stays engaged and supported. Key Responsibilities: Code Quality Review • Review Java solutions submitted by trainers for correctness, clarity, maintainability, structure, and adherence to project standards. • Provide detailed and constructive feedback; escalate critical issues when necessary. Technical Evaluation • Assess Java code for algorithmic soundness, performance considerations, best practices, error handling, modularity, and readability. Communication • Keep trainers and QAs updated on Discord regarding new tasks, expectations, or project changes. • Respond promptly and professionally to questions and clarifications. Activation Management • Monitor trainer/QA activity and proactively reach out to inactive contributors to understand blockers and encourage participation. Documentation • Develop and maintain documents such as Java coding guidelines, review checklists, example solutions, trackers, FAQs, honeypots, and other reference materials. Onboarding & Training • Schedule and conduct onboarding or training calls with trainers/QAs to explain Java quality standards, common issues, and review expectations. 🌟 Why Work with Jupiter AI Labs?
