Role description
We are looking for a Java Engineer (6-10 years experience) with strong experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices to join our Sports Platform team. You will play a key role in developing and expanding data offerings to support global sporting events, including the upcoming Winter Olympics in Milan.
Note: Candidate must be from the Sports/ Media background. No any other background.
Responsibilities:
β’ Design and develop RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and React
β’ Work on microservices supporting sports and fan engagement platforms
β’ Collaborate with product teams to deliver user stories and new features
β’ Integrate and query GraphQL (a plus)
β’ Contribute to cloud-based deployments (Terraform, AWS EKS, EC2)
β’ Partner with DevOps team on CI/CD, deployment, and monitoring
Requirements:
β’ Strong skills in API development and Spring Boot
β’ Exposure to React and front-end integration
β’ Familiarity with cloud (AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes/EKS)
