Role description
We are looking for a Java Engineer (6-10 years experience) with strong experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices to join our Sports Platform team. You will play a key role in developing and expanding data offerings to support global sporting events, including the upcoming Winter Olympics in Milan. Note: Candidate must be from the Sports/ Media background. No any other background. Responsibilities: β€’ Design and develop RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and React β€’ Work on microservices supporting sports and fan engagement platforms β€’ Collaborate with product teams to deliver user stories and new features β€’ Integrate and query GraphQL (a plus) β€’ Contribute to cloud-based deployments (Terraform, AWS EKS, EC2) β€’ Partner with DevOps team on CI/CD, deployment, and monitoring Requirements: β€’ Strong skills in API development and Spring Boot β€’ Exposure to React and front-end integration β€’ Familiarity with cloud (AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes/EKS)
