Role description
Key Responsibilities
β’ Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications using Java and modern frameworks (Spring Boot, Micronaut, Quarkus, etc.).
β’ Build and deploy microservices to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
β’ Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
β’ Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
β’ Integrate cloud services such as storage, messaging, and databases.
β’ Ensure applications follow security best practices and compliance requirements.
β’ Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and product teams throughout the software lifecycle.
β’ Troubleshoot and resolve issues in cloud environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
β’ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
β’ 3+ years of Java development experience.
β’ Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and REST API development.
β’ Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
β’ Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
β’ Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
β’ Good understanding of relational and NoSQL databases.
β’ Solid problem-solving and debugging skills.
Preferred Skills
β’ AWS Certified Developer / Solutions Architect (or equivalent Azure/GCP certifications).
β’ Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
β’ Knowledge of event-driven architecture and messaging systems (Kafka, SQS, Pub/Sub).
