Role description
Job Summary Technical Leadership and Architecture Design - 18% Provide expert-level technical leadership in the design, development, and delivery of enterprise- grade applications. Define system architecture, review design documents, and ensure solutions follow best practices in scalability, performance, and security across Java and cloud platforms. Full Stack Development (Java/Python) - 15% Design and implement robust backend services and APIs using Java and/or Python. Ensure seamless integration with internal and external systems using RESTful services, adhering to coding standards and SDLC processes. Cloud Engineering (AWS) - 12% Develop and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Glue, CloudFormation, and Lambda. Automate cloud deployments and ensure optimal cost, performance, and availability. DevOps and CI/CD Pipeline Management - 10% Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Bamboo, Bitbucket, Artifactory, Nexus, and Ansible. Automate build, test, and deployment processes to support agile release cycles. Project Coordination and Stakeholder Communication - 10% Interact regularly with project managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical input, update project status, and identify/mitigate risks. Test Automation and QA Support - 8% Develop and support test automation strategies, including integration, security, and regression testing. Collaborate with QA teams to improve test coverage and maintain software quality. Code Review and Mentorship - 7% Participate in peer code reviews, design walkthroughs, and mentorship of junior developers. Ensure adherence to best practices and design patterns across the development team. Monitoring and Observability - 6% Implement and manage monitoring tools like Splunk, CloudWatch, and Datadog to ensure observability, log aggregation, performance analysis, and alerting for production systems. Performance Tuning, Security, and Legacy Migration - 7% Conduct performance testing and tuning. Perform vulnerability assessments, implement security best practices, and support migration of legacy systems to modern platforms. Innovation and Continuous Improvement - 7% Research and evaluate new technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Tableau, Hive), frameworks, and methodologies.
