Java & Google BigQuery Engineer Sunnyvale Hybrid (2 days/week on-site) Contract (6 months + possibility of extension) Responsibilities: • Assist with data collection and analysis using BigQuery • Develop and maintain data pipelines using Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka • Design and implement data visualizations using Tableau • Troubleshoot and debug data-related issues using BigQuery and other tools • Identify trends and insights in large datasets • Collaborate with the team to design and implement data-driven solutions • Develop and maintain data quality and integrity standards • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and analysis Requirements: 5+ years of experience in java application development and data analysis • Strong understanding of BigQuery, Java, Kubernetes, Kafka, and Spring Boot • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau • Strong programming skills in Java • Experience with data pipelines and ETL processes • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
