Role Overview
We are seeking a candidate with extensive IT systems experience to support enterprise applications. This role involves troubleshooting complex issues across application, infrastructure, and performance layers. The position requires a problem-solver who can work independently in a fast-paced environment and handle production escalations with ownership.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze and resolve application issues across multiple layers including application, middleware, infrastructure, and platform.
• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and scalability issues in distributed environments.
• Support production escalations with urgency and ownership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, infrastructure, and support.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
• 5 to 7 years of overall IT systems experience.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications in development and production environments.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex application, infrastructure, performance, and scalability issues.
Technical Skills:
• Expertise in Java and strong development experience with Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Event Hub.
• Strong Angular UI development experience.
• Good exposure to SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and a strong working knowledge of GitHub.
• Deep understanding of infrastructure components to troubleshoot end-to-end application issues.
Preferred Qualifications
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience in enterprise-grade application support and modernization environments.
• A self-driven and accountable professional comfortable in a hybrid work model.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role based in Austin, with a minimum of 3 days per week required in the office. The position requires flexible working hours to support production escalations when needed.
