Role description
Location: Crawley, West Sussex (Hybrid: 2 days/week in office) Rate: £180 – £220 per day (Inside IR35) Contract Length: 3 months with extension very likely We are seeking a data-driven Supply Chain Analyst to support our European supply chain operations. This role bridges the gap between operational administration and digital transformation, focusing on maintaining ERP system integrity, troubleshooting EDI errors, and leveraging automation to streamline processes. Key Responsibilities • Data & System Integrity: Monitor and align ERP transactions/EDI networks; identify, troubleshoot, and resolve transactional errors. • Reporting & Analytics: Produce and manage accurate reporting suites, presenting data insights in clear, actionable formats. • Automation & Controls: Design and implement automated workflows, alerts, and scheduled processes to reduce manual effort and improve data quality. • Functional Support: Partner with logistics, planning, and order processing teams to digitise processes and provide system expertise. Technical Skills & Experience Required • Supply Chain Knowledge: Reasonable understanding of supply chain, distribution networks, or spare parts operations. • Advanced Excel: High proficiency is essential for data manipulation and analysis. • Power BI: Experience using Power BI (or similar) to build and maintain reporting tools. • SQL: Confident understanding of relational databases and the ability to write SQL queries. • ERP & EDI: Experience with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, BaaN); familiarity with EDI fundamentals is a major plus. • Automation Mindset: Experience with (or a strong willingness to learn) Power Automate, VBA, or Python to drive process improvement. Logistics • Work Pattern: 2 days a week on-site in Crawley, West Sussex (3 days remote). • Compliance: This role is strictly Inside IR35.
