Job Title: Java Spring Boot Technical Lead Location: Cincinnati, OH (Onsite) Experience Required: 5+ Years Work Type: Onsite Work Hours: Flexible (Global Time Zone – PST Preferred) About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Java Spring Boot Technical Lead to provide hands-on development and technical leadership for enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful services, and event-driven architecture, along with proven leadership experience in guiding teams toward successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement scalable, secure architectures using Java Spring Boot. • Lead development of RESTful APIs, event-driven solutions, and cloud-native applications. • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and conduct code reviews. • Ensure adherence to coding standards, testing frameworks, and best practices. • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, QA, and operations teams. • Manage timelines, risks, and communicate status to stakeholders. • Motivate and guide the development team, delegating tasks effectively. Required Skills & Experience • 5+ years of professional experience in Java service development. • Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Security. • Hands-on experience with RESTful API design, event-driven architecture, asynchronous patterns, and messaging infrastructure. • Proficiency in relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle). • Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP. • Strong design, architecture, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Prior technical leadership experience in Agile environments. Nice to Have • Experience in microservices design and distributed systems. • Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD practices. • Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
