Responsibilities: • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable APIs and microservices using Java Spring Boot • Build and support cloud-native applications in AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, etc.) • Collaborate cross-functionally with front-end developers, QA, and DevOps teams • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous delivery workflows • Use tools like Postman, Docker, Git, and Maven in your daily work • Contribute to API documentation and help define best practices for integration • Diagnose and optimize performance across the entire stack Required Experience: • Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot • Experience with Maven, JUnit, Postman, and Git • Hands-on skills with Docker and AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, DynamoDB) • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and distributed systems • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies Preferred Experience: • Mockito, Wiremock for mocking and testing • JPA/Hibernate for ORM • Spring Integration, Spring Boot OpenTelemetry, AWS Spring Cloud • Resilience4J, SLF4J structured logging • Event-driven architecture, message queuing, and MuleSoft integration • Flyway or similar tools for database versioning Required Soft Skills: • Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills • Thrives in fast-paced, agile environments • Self-driven with a passion for clean, maintainable code Our Commitment ECCO Select is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
