Java/Kotlin Engineers – Contract (2 openings) Location: Brooklyn Park, MN 55445 Contract: Through Apr 10, 2026 (likely to extend) Hybrid: 2 days/week onsite We’re looking for two experienced Java/Kotlin Engineers to join a team modernizing technology and consuming inventory events and enhancements. This role is primarily backend development with some frontend work in React. Key Skills & Requirements: • Backend Development: Strong Java experience, Kotlin experience • Messaging & Data Movement: Kafka • Databases: Postgres (and Cassandra a plus) • Frontend: React • Scripting: Groovy • Frameworks: Spring Boot and React • Bonus: Experience with storage, caching, and data movement in distributed environments This team is moving off older technology and working to modernize support, so it’s a great opportunity to work on impactful, forward-looking projects.
