Role description
We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive front-end development for seamless subscription management and unified checkout applications. You'll create lightning-fast, web-based JavaScript solutions that empower users to discover, purchase, and manage content from top servicesβall while ensuring rock-solid reliability across diverse devices.
Responsibilities:
β’ Design, develop, and implement web-based JavaScript applications using a proprietary UI component library, following Agile methodologies.
β’ Analyze business requirements and create technical design documents aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
β’ Write, test, and debug high-quality code, including unit and integration tests, to deliver scalable, performant solutions.
β’ Integrate front-end applications with backend services (e.g., authentication APIs) and collaborate with upstream teams.
β’ Contribute to large-scale distributed systems using JavaScript, Java, and related frameworks.
β’ Participate in CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and documentation to ensure DevOps readiness and minimal downtime.
β’ Tackle complex UI challenges for features like subscription upgrades, downgrades, and bundling across platforms.
Required Qualifications:
β’ Education: Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
β’ Experience: 8+ years in software engineering, with 10+ years preferred in enterprise-scale applications.
β’ Core Skills:
β’ Advanced proficiency in JavaScript for front-end development.
β’ Strong knowledge of Java (1.7/1.8) for backend integration.
β’ Experience with GitHub for version control and team collaboration.
β’ Proven front-end expertise in building modular, user-facing applications.
