Role description

Location: Remote, PST hours preferred

Pay Rate: $50-65/hr

Duration: 5mo contract, about 20-30 hours/week

Start Date: May 12th

Must Haves:

   • 4+ years of experience using Javascript/Typescript for new feature creation and application maintenance

   • Proven experience in building server-side applications using Node.js

   • Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, and DynamoDB.

   • Experience with testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Mocha, Chai, Jest)

   • Experience with various APIs (RESTful, SOAP)

Preferred:

   • Experience within higher education industry

Responsibilities:

   • Develop and maintain web applications for ongoing projects

   • Deploy and manage applications on AWS, ensuring high availability and scalability.

   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and design new features

   • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

   • Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.

Compensation:

$50/hr to $65/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
