Senior React Engineer (Inside IR35 Contract) ✨ Location: Remote (Ireland or UK) ✨ Duration: 6–12 months ✨ Day Rate: Competitive, Inside IR35 ViVA Tech Talent are looking for a Senior React Engineer to play a pivotal role in shaping a modern suite of web applications for a fast-growing payments and fintech platform. This is an opportunity to combine hands-on engineering with technical leadership - designing, building, and guiding teams delivering next-generation digital experiences. What you’ll do • Lead front-end development for key product initiatives, working across modern frameworks and tooling (React, TypeScript, CSS pre-processors). • Collaborate with UX and backend teams to build secure, scalable, and visually polished user interfaces. • Help evolve the component library and design system, ensuring consistency and performance. • Contribute to clean, testable code through CI/CD and modern development practices. • Drive improvement across tooling, automation, and delivery processes. • Mentor engineers and contribute to a collaborative, outcomes-focused culture. What we’re looking for • 10+ years’ experience in software engineering, with deep expertise in modern front-end technologies (React, TypeScript, ES6+, HTML/CSS). • Proven track record in building and optimising complex, data-driven web applications. • Strong understanding of REST APIs, OAuth2/OIDC, and front-end performance. • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; able to influence and deliver across teams. • Comfortable working in fast-paced, agile environments and taking ownership from concept to release.
