Job Overview
We are seeking a Junior JDE Application Support Engineer to support one of our manufacturing industry clients. The role involves providing Level 2 and Level 3 application support for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE), primarily within manufacturing modules.
The ideal candidate will troubleshoot issues, manage incidents, support updates, assist with system performance monitoring, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality support and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Application & Incident Support
β’ Provide L2/L3 support for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne
β’ Troubleshoot issues within manufacturing modules
β’ Log, track, and escalate incidents within defined SLAs
β’ Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues
β’ Contribute to permanent fixes under Problem Management
User & System Administration
β’ Handle user onboarding and offboarding tickets for JDE
β’ Assist with software patches, updates, and deployments
β’ Support testing and QA processes
Manufacturing Module Support
β’ Support Work Order Processing
β’ Support Shop Floor Management
β’ Troubleshoot issues related to:
β’ Work orders
β’ Inventory
β’ Bill of Materials (BOMs)
Monitoring & Performance
β’ Analyze application logs
β’ Monitor system performance statistics
β’ Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
Development & Integration
β’ Assist with development, testing, and deployment of customizations
β’ Support data migration and integrations between JDE and other systems (e.g., MES)
β’ Support unit testing, UAT, and integration testing
Collaboration & Documentation
β’ Work with business analysts to gather requirements
β’ Assist in preparing technical specifications and design documents
β’ Collaborate with development teams and business users
β’ Create and maintain troubleshooting guides and technical documentation
Required Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
β’ 1β3 years of experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne
β’ Experience or familiarity with manufacturing modules (preferred)
β’ Familiarity with PL/SQL
β’ Experience with troubleshooting and root cause analysis
β’ Knowledge of software support methodologies and bug tracking tools
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
β’ Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
