Job Summary
We are seeking an 5+ Years experienced Jira Engineer with hands-on expertise in Jira administration and development to optimize our Atlassian ecosystem. The ideal candidate will manage configurations, automate workflows, and integrate tools to support agile teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Administer Jira instances, including workflows, schemes, permission management, and advanced configurations.
• Develop and implement Jira automation using tools like Automation for Jira, ScriptRunner, or equivalents.
• Customize Jira plugins, boards, and reports to align with business needs.
• Integrate Jira with Confluence and other tools for seamless collaboration.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform upgrades, and ensure system performance and security.
• Collaborate with development, product, and operations teams to enhance tool usage.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of hands-on Jira administration experience (5 years minimum preferred).
• Strong proficiency in Jira workflows, schemes, permissions, and configurations.
• Proven experience with Jira automation tools (e.g., Automation for Jira, ScriptRunner).
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Groovy, JavaScript, or Python (preferred).
• Basic understanding of Confluence integration.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a hybrid team setting.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with Atlassian Suite (Bitbucket, Bamboo) or enterprise-scale Jira deployments.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
