Business Intelligence Analyst
Contract to Hire
Hybrid - Nashville
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop BI solutions by translating business requirements into scalable dashboards and reporting tools using Tableau and SAP Business Objects
• Build, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards, scorecards, and KPI reporting to support business decision-making
• Analyze large and complex datasets to generate actionable insights, identify trends, and support strategic initiatives
• Extract, transform, and validate data from multiple sources (e.g., Snowflake, SAP Business Objects) to support reporting and analytics
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, views, and data models to enable automated reporting and visualization
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and improve existing reporting systems and processes
• Support data integration efforts across data warehouses, data marts, and data lakes to ensure data consistency and accessibility
• Conduct user acceptance testing, troubleshoot issues, and support iterative enhancements to BI solutions
• Maintain documentation of data definitions, reporting logic, and business terms to support governance and knowledge sharing
• Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, data quality, and analytical capabilities
Qualifications
• 3–5 years of experience in data visualization and business intelligence, preferably using Tableau
• Strong experience designing dashboards, KPI scorecards, and data-driven reporting solutions
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights
• Intermediate to advanced SQL skills (queries, views, and data manipulation)
• Experience working with large datasets and data warehousing concepts
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Experience
• Background in Business, Finance, Purchasing, or Marketing analytics
• Experience with ETL tools or self-service data applications
• Exposure to web development or automation tools
