Key Responsibilities
β’ 5+ years of experience working in the Healthcare industry as a Developer in SQL
β’ 3+ years of experience working with SAS business analytic software or Alteryx ETL Designer
β’ Experience with procedures within SAS/SQL business analytic software Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Advanced SAS, SQL query and SQL programming experience, with the ability to create and modify stored procedures in MS-SQL Server Database
β’ Experience with Data Visualization tools, such as Tableau
β’ Experience with Python and R Programming
β’ Experience developing, implementing, and supporting production SAS reporting
β’ M&R - Part D knowledge & experience
β’ Pharmacy and health claim analytics experience
β’ Experience with business intelligence tools and software
β’ Knowledge of HEDIS and Star Quality Specifications
β’ Familiarity with CMS Star Ratings
β’ Advanced Proficiency with MS Office and Excel
β’ Assess and improve an existing data platform, including refactoring pipelines, optimizing performance, and improving code quality, or designing a new end to end data solution from the ground up when appropriate.
β’ Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support downstream application and analytics use cases.
β’ Implement and manage data ingestion, transformation, and storage patterns using Databricks and Snowflake.
β’ Partner with architects and stakeholders to define data models, schemas that enable reliable application development.
β’ Ensure data quality, reliability, observability, and governance across the data lifecycle.
β’ Optimize workloads for cost, performance, and scalability in a cloud native Azure environment.
β’ Contribute to and enforce engineering standards, including documentation, testing, version control, and CI/CD practices.
β’ Support and enable downstream consumers (application developers, analytics, data science) by delivering trusted, well structured data assets Required skills: Required Qualifications:
