Jr Data Engineer (Onsite)

Luna Data Solutions is seeking a Junior Data Engineer / Cloud Data Warehouse Analyst Work Location - Onsite (78752) Long term contract Must reside in the Austin area at time of application We are looking for an entry-level to junior analyst/developer resource with foundational SQL and database knowledge, strong technical aptitude, and interest in cloud data platforms. While prior enterprise Snowflake experience is preferred, this role is intended to be trainable and grow into supporting internal EDW operations long term. Primary responsibilities would include: • Monitoring Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines • Basic Snowflake troubleshooting and operational support • SQL development and query support • Data validation and QA activities • Dashboard/report support • Dataset onboarding and data integration support • Documentation of data flows, pipelines, and operational procedures • Supporting general EDW/database administration activities Required Experience/Skills • Foundational SQL skills • Foundational Python skills • Basic understanding of ETL/data pipeline concepts • Database administration or data warehousing coursework/experience • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills • Ability to work onsite and collaborate directly with internal IT staff Preferred Skills • Exposure to Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, or similar cloud data platforms What Luna Data Offers • Competitive compensation and benefits, including health, dental, vision, life, accident, and disability insurance • Great work-life balance • Work on high profile projects This is an onsite contract opportunity based in Austin, TX and no sponsorship can be provided.
