Jr. Data Engineer

This job is 100% in person and you must live in the Cincinnati area to be considered. Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Jr Data Engineer to fill an open position with one of our clients. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your data engineering career while working with modern tools like dbt, Snowflake, and Power BI in a collaborative, Agile environment. You’ll gain hands-on experience building data pipelines, supporting reporting solutions, and applying data quality practices that directly impact business decisions. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, leverage generative AI tools, and build a strong foundation in enterprise data operations. In this role, you will support the development and maintenance of data pipelines, assist with ETL/ELT processes, and contribute to reporting and analytics efforts. You will collaborate closely with team members, participate in Agile ceremonies, and follow established data governance and SDLC practices while learning the business context that drives data usage. Responsibilities: Build and maintain simple data pipelines using tools such as dbt, IBM DataStage, and Power Platform with team guidance Write SQL queries and perform data transformations across platforms like DB2 and Snowflake Support data ingestion, validation, and loading processes while applying data quality checks Maintain Power BI reports, troubleshoot issues, refresh data, and implement minor dashboard enhancements.
