Jr. Data Scientist- Local ONLY

1. 1-3 years working as a data scientist - strong preference with experience in the financial services space/banking - if they have experience with credit cards that is very nice to have2. Strong SQL and Python - must be able to write/code from scratch and do advanced SQL queries3. good communication skills and ability to speak with upper level business Job Description We want to target a junior level data scientist, with 1-3 years of experience. Interact with and advises Management of regarding credit risk issues; formulates product strategy recommendations and evaluates the risk in the overall loan portfolio. Autonomous end-to-end statistical model creation, including but not limited to identifying objectives, compiling data, sampling/prepping data, feature selection, model comparison/selection, deployment, and monitoring. Ensures adequate internal control processes around model development, implementation and validation are established. Maintaining documentation for key processes and model components across the team with focus on standardization of processes; Engage model development teams, model production, and forecasting/model production team/users to develop consistent model implementation and process capabilities.
