Role description
Role Overview
The Segment Marketing team is seeking a data-driven Marketing Analyst who can also flex into Marketing Traffic Coordinator responsibilities. This hybrid role is approximately 75% focused on marketing analytics and insights and 25% focused on coordinating marketing workflow and execution.
The ideal candidate has a strong analytical background, an interest in marketing strategy, and is comfortable supporting both data-driven decision-making and the operational side of marketing campaigns. Financial services experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Analytics (Primary Focus)
β’ Analyze marketing and distribution channel performance to identify trends, opportunities, and optimization recommendations.
β’ Support test design, execution, and post-test analysis to drive client engagement and inform multi-channel marketing strategies.
β’ Conduct audience segmentation and pull data from multiple sources to support targeted marketing efforts.
β’ Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and presentations that translate data into clear, actionable insights for Marketing Project Managers and stakeholders.
β’ Review and support basic forecasting models for planning and goal-setting.
β’ Present findings and insights to business partners to help inform marketing strategy.
Traffic Coordination (Secondary Focus)
β’ Coordinate the flow of marketing work from intake through completion, ensuring deadlines and process requirements are met.
β’ Support Segment Marketing teams by managing campaigns and navigating internal systems for reviews, approvals, and distribution.
β’ Perform proofing and quality control to maintain high standards for marketing deliverables.
β’ Track project status, manage priorities, and communicate updates through meetings and status reports.
β’ Collect stakeholder feedback and translate it into clear next steps and action items.
Required Qualifications (Combined)
β’ 1β2 years of experience in marketing analytics, business analytics, data science, marketing operations, project coordination, or a related role.
β’ Strong analytical skills with the ability to tell a story with data and translate insights into business recommendations.
β’ Hands-on experience with Excel and data visualization tools such as Power BI and/or Tableau.
β’ Ability to gather and analyze data from multiple sources; experience with basic SQL queries is a plus.
β’ Python experience is nice to have, but not required.
β’ Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
β’ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working cross-functionally and presenting findings to stakeholders.
β’ Interest in marketing strategy, campaign execution, and the creative/marketing workflow.
