Role overview As a Junior Release Manager, candidates will play a crucial role in supporting and learning the release management processes for our data warehouse and ETL solutions. Candidates will work closely with development, operations, and quality assurance teams to help ensure successful and timely delivery of data warehouse enhancements and ETL updates. Key responsibilities Release Planning Assistance: Assist in coordinating release schedules, gathering requirements, and preparing release documentation. Release Process Support: Support deployment execution, ensure process adherence, and learn to identify and mitigate risks. Monitoring & Reporting: Track release progress, participate in post-release reviews, and provide updates to stakeholders. Collaboration & Communication: Facilitate communication between teams and collaborate with technical staff. Continuous Learning & Improvement: Maintain understanding of systems and proactively learn new tools and methodologies. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science. Experience: Some experience or exposure to data warehouse concepts, ETL processes, and project management is beneficial. Technical Skills: Basic understanding of SQL, exposure to scripting languages, and familiarity with version control systems are desirable. Soft Skills: Strong communication, organizational skills, attention to detail, and a desire to learn are important.
