β’ Hybrid Remote | 2 weeks per month onsite in Jersey City, NJ or Westlake, TX.
The Senior KDB+ Developer will support a startup investing app within a large, well known asset management firm.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Pay: $90 - $105/hr W2
Experience Requirements
β’ Over 10 years of professional software development experience, including 3+ years working with kdb+/q systems.
β’ Strong understanding of kdb+/q tick architecture, UNIX OS internals, low-level networking, and CPU architecture.
β’ Proficient in designing and maintaining unit tests using frameworks like QCumber.
β’ Skilled in building applications with a focus on high availability, low latency, and scalability.
β’ Experience with C/C++ or Golang is a strong plus.
β’ Familiarity with Equities Electronic Trading, including Smart Order Routers, Market Data, or Order Management Systems is desirable.
β’ Advanced scripting skills for automation (e.g., Python, Bash).
β’ Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, including tools like Git and Jenkins.
β’ Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues across complex technology stacks.
β’ Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in Agile environments.
Education Requirements
β’ Bachelorβs degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
