Location & Work Arrangement
β’ City, State: Lansing, Michigan
β’ Work Arrangement: Hybrid. Onsite two days per week. Wednesdays are mandatory onsite. The second onsite day can be flexible.

β’ Mode of Interview: In-person interviews only.
Essential Duties And Project Leadership
The Senior Business Analyst will manage the full project lifecycle, from initial requirement capture and RFP drafting to testing and implementation, while acting as a system owner representative.
β’ Business & System Analysis Leadership
β’ Requirements Development: Collaborate with clients and DTMB professionals to develop and gain consensus on business and system requirements.
β’ Process Modeling: Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies and process modeling.
β’ Complex Problem Solving: Work on complex business problems, analyzing current business methods and procedures for improvements.
β’ Documentation: Perform project-level analysis and produce documentation such as swim lanes, sequence diagrams, and use cases.
β’ Project Strategy & Governance
β’ Project Planning: Take a leading role in estimation, planning, and forecasting of projects.
β’ RFP Development: Required ability to draft requirements for Request for Proposals (RFP) for the procurement of IT solutions and services.
β’ Strategic Planning: Serve as a liaison and IT system owner, engaging with the agency to establish and fulfill strategic goals.
β’ SDLC Knowledge: Solid knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle and related methodologies (e.g., Agile, CMMI).
β’ Quality Assurance & Communication
β’ Testing: Ability to organize and develop test plans and test cases working with business subject matter experts.
β’ Communication: Ability to effectively make oral and written reports and presentations.
β’ Collaboration: Build and maintain effective relationships with cross-departmental teams, vendors, customers, and enterprise technology management.
β’ Tools: Advanced proficiency with all MS Office applications, MS Project, and Visio.
