Hi, Job Title: Lead / Architect – Data Analytics & Customer Engagement (Amplitude & Braze) Location: Remote Long term contract Role Overview We are looking for a Data Analytics Lead / Architect to drive data-driven decision-making and customer engagement strategies. This role focuses on building a robust analytics foundation, enabling actionable insights, and activating those insights through personalized customer experiences using Amplitude and Braze. Key Responsibilities Data Analytics & Strategy • Define and lead the product analytics strategy aligned with business and growth objectives. • Design KPI frameworks, dashboards, funnels, and cohort analyses using Amplitude. • Translate complex data into actionable insights for product, marketing, and leadership teams. • Drive experimentation (A/B testing), hypothesis generation, and performance measurement. Data Architecture & Instrumentation • Define event taxonomy, tracking plans, and data schemas for scalable analytics. • Oversee implementation of Amplitude SDKs across web and mobile platforms. • Ensure clean, consistent, and reliable data collection across all touchpoints. • Integrate data sources including backend systems, CDPs, and data warehouses. Customer Engagement Analytics • Leverage behavioral insights to design targeted campaigns in Braze. • Build dynamic user segments and lifecycle journeys based on analytics outputs. • Measure and optimize campaign effectiveness (CTR, conversion, retention, LTV). • Enable real-time personalization and triggered messaging strategies. Data Engineering & Integration • Collaborate with data engineering teams to build and optimize data pipelines (ETL/ELT). • Ensure seamless data flow between Amplitude, Braze, and warehouse systems. • Work with APIs, event streaming, and real-time data processing systems. Leadership & Stakeholder Collaboration • Partner with Product, Marketing, Data Science, and Engineering teams. • Act as a bridge between analytics insights and business execution. • Mentor analysts and engineers on best practices in data analytics and instrumentation. Governance & Data Quality • Establish data governance, validation frameworks, and monitoring processes. • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA). • Maintain high standards of data accuracy, consistency, and usability. Required Skills & Experience Core Analytics Expertise • 6–10+ years in data analytics, product analytics, or data architecture roles. • Strong hands-on experience with: • Amplitude (funnels, cohorts, retention, experimentation) • Braze (campaign analytics, segmentation, journey orchestration) • Deep understanding of user behavior analytics and growth metrics. Technical Skills • Advanced SQL and experience with data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift). • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI). • Knowledge of event-driven tracking and analytics instrumentation. • Familiarity with CDPs (Segment, mParticle, RudderStack). • Experience with Python/R for data analysis (preferred). Business & Analytical Thinking • Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset. • Ability to connect data insights with business outcomes. • Experience in defining and tracking north-star metrics and OKRs. Soft Skills • Strong communication and storytelling with data. • Ability to influence stakeholders using insights. • Leadership and mentoring capabilities.
