Role description
We have a strong and growing pipeline and need someone who can help pitch, prototype, and demo with the leadership team. We’re looking for a Lead AI Solutions Engineer at Spyglaz AI, an enterprise platform that uses agentic AI to help insurance and investment companies strengthen their sales and distribution relationships. Our mission is to help organizations grow smarter using data, automation, and adaptive decision-making to identify top producers, improve retention, and discover new opportunities. Key Responsibilities Prototype & Build: Design and build working prototypes of agentic AI workflows using LLMs and modern frameworks (LangChain, AWS Bedrock, OpenAI APIs, RAG systems). Enterprise Sales Support: Partner with leadership to join prospect and customer meetings with executive buyers (CTOs, CIOs, Heads of Distribution). Build technical credibility, present our vision clearly, and deliver live demos that win trust. Narrative & Product Strategy: Help shape the narrative in demos. Translate complex AI concepts into tangible business value that resonates with enterprise leaders. AI Infrastructure Planning: Guide architectural decisions, toolchain design, and scaling of agentic workflows into production (cloud infrastructure, latency reduction, reliability, cost optimization, and monitoring). Stay Ahead: Continuously evaluate new LLM and agentic AI tools, platforms, and methods. Separate hype from what truly creates value in enterprise environments. Required Qualifications Proven hands-on coding ability. Deep experience with LLMs and LLMOps: OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, LangChain, Bedrock, or similar frameworks. Demonstrated ability to diagnose and fix issues in production LLM systems (performance, reliability, latency). Experience designing agentic workflows with multi-step reasoning and tool use. Strong executive communication and presence, comfortable simplifying complex technology for business audiences. Deal-oriented mindset with a proven record of supporting enterprise sales or helping close strategic deals. Bonus Points For Experience in insurance, investment, or financial services Contributions to open-source AI tools or frameworks Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and enterprise security standards Prior startup leadership experience in B2B SaaS Ability to mentor junior engineers We don’t care if you’re: Self-taught, bootstrapped, or skipped the PhD Working another gig, as long as you can show up when it matters Not active on LinkedIn or don’t have fancy titles We do want to talk to you if: You’ve built agentic or LLM-based applications and can demo them live You’re as comfortable selling to a Chief Growth Officer as you are prototyping overnight You’ve helped close deals by earning technical trust in the room You know how to balance scrappy execution with long-term platform thinking Job Type: Part-time, Contract, or Flexible Job Type: Contract Pay: $70.00 - $90.00 per hour Work Location: Remote
