Key Responsibilities
β’ Requirements Leadership: Lead the gathering and analysis of complex business requirements, creating detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), functional
β’ specifications, and user stories.
β’ Utility Domain Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on utility-specific processes such as customer billing, metering, smart grid technologies, or rate modeling.
β’ Process Optimization: Map existing business processes, perform gap analysis, and identify opportunities for technology-driven improvement or automation.
β’ Stakeholder Management: Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals, scope, and business impact.
β’ System Testing & Validation: Collaborate with developers and QA teams to validate technical solutions against functional requirements.
β’ Project Leadership: Supervise team members in the documentation and analysis of features, user stories, and acceptance criteria in Agile environments.
Required Qualifications & Skills
β’ At least 10+ years of experience as Business analyst with expertise in utilities domain and aleast 5+ year's expΓ©rience as a Lead BA
β’ Experience of delivering at least 3/4 utilities projects from concept to completion as a Lead BA
β’ Domain Expertise: Proven experience in the utilities industry (Electric, Water, Gas).
β’ Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of CRM, Billing Systems (CIS), or GIS/Asset Management systems, with familiarity in data modeling and SQL
β’ Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze large, complex utility datasets and translate them into actionable business insights.
β’ Documentation Skills: Expert-level skills in creating user stories, functional specs, and process flows.
β’ Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field
β’ Requirement of a functional business analyst having deep expertise in Utilities domain, for our clie share profiles quickly, so that we can start interviews from tomorrow itself.
