FP&A team is currently outlining projects/priorities for the rest of 2025 and into 2026 and looking for a strong Business Analyst to support, drive, and execute on these initiatives.
Team Overview
The Process Automation Lead will be pivotal in driving and delivering automation in the accounting operation. You will be instrumental in providing process excellence across the CAO organization, including the areas of business process such as Quote-to-Cash, Record to Report, Procure to Pay, & Hire to Retire and business applications such as ERP AI/Automation technologies, UIPath, Alteryx, and Tableau. This role is about identifying opportunities for automation and building a business case, managing the intake and prioritization, and delivering the next-generation digital transformation.
As the strategic owner driving automation at scale, you will foster robust relationships with the key business partners, DTS, and the CAO leadership team to deliver automations. The ability to think critically, to plan and execute effectively while collaborating across teams and locations will be a key to success in this role.
Project Description
Projects may include, but are not limited to:
β’ Optimizing Processes within; Billing, QTC, RevRec, Accounting, and all other core FP&A functions
β’ Identifying opportunities for automation within technologies and processes
β’ Helping develop COE (Center of Excellence) for their Alteryx tool and other systems
β’ Supporting development and optimization of Oracle ERP and Zuora Billing
Additionally: Other business units will make requests for certain changes/optimizations within their tech stack and team and this individual will help with that intake and drive prioritization and execution of these requests.
β’ This role is crucial for leading and implementing automation within accounting operations.
β’ You'll drive process excellence across the Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) organization, encompassing Quote-to-Cash, Record to Report, Procure to Pay, and Hire to Retire processes, as well as ERP, AI/Automation technologies, UIPath, Alteryx, and Tableau applications.
β’ This position involves identifying automation opportunities, developing business cases, managing prioritization and intake, and delivering digital transformation initiatives.
β’ As the strategic lead for large-scale automation, you'll build strong partnerships with key business stakeholders, DTS, and the CAO leadership team to deliver automation solutions.
β’ Success in this role hinges on critical thinking, effective planning and execution, and cross-functional collaboration across different teams and locations.
Duties/Day to Day Overview
β’ Serve as a finance automation team lead to represent CAO in the overall company automation strategy.
β’ Interface with cross-functional teams within the CAO organization to evaluate and advise on the βart of the possible.β Automation to drive process simplification and improvements
β’ Partner with the DTS Automation team to develop the intake process, establish prioritization governance, and build ROI metrics to showcase the business values of using automation
β’ Partner across the accounting operations teams to drive automation delivery and ensure alignment on priorities
β’ Work with different technologies and drive the best practices to adopt the right technology for process automation.
β’ Develop a COE for Alteryx to manage the standards, share knowledge, and establish best practices.
β’ Encourage the sharing of best practices and insights among all members of the team.
Inspire change and collaboration among diverse and distributed teams.
β’ Finance Process Automation - Strategy and Execution [UiPath, Power Automate. Enterprise Software automation tools ex. Oracle, Zuora, etc.]
β’ Support and drive automation by initiating, discussing, and rationalizing finance use cases and business values across the COA team, with the stretch goal of working across the finance organization (FP&A, Revenue operations, Corporate finance, tax, and international finance).
β’ Improving the effectiveness of the finance function
β’ Measuring and benchmarking finance operational processes performance, identifying current process maturity
β’ Identifies the next steps for each process improvement based on the current and desired state & prioritizes high-impact activities with opportunities for improvement.
β’ Finance Data Management
β’ Represent finance and accounting teams to support accounting, revenue, and other finance data management, reporting, and dashboarding.
β’ Enable data analysis and reporting to provide business insights - revenue, billing, purchasing, payables etc.
β’ Develop a center of Excellence for Alteryx.
β’ Extend Alterx Management and automation across the CAO organization, leading to the building and management of the Alteryx Center of Excellence.
β’ Develop Alteryx strategy, governance, and scale framework to expand the benefits across the finance organization (FP&A, Revenue, etc.]
Top Requirements
(Must haves)
β’ 5+ Years of experience as a Business Analyst/Lead in FP&A
β’ SAAS, Tech, FinTech Background
β’ Experience launching projects from 0 -> 1 within FP&A
β’ Focus on Automation by leveraging AI tech
β’ Ability to build business case around optimization recommendations and gain executive buy in
β’ Ability to benchmark financial operations and financial data to identify opportunities for optimization
β’ Great communication skills
Additional Qualifications
β’ Experience with Alteryx is strongly preferred
β’ Experience executing on Business results and can articulate that experience well
