Lead Business Analyst

Overview We are seeking an experienced Lead Business Analyst to support a high-impact engagement with our client. This is a strategic, people-focused role designed to elevate the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of business analysis practices across the organization. The ideal candidate is a strong analytical leader who thrives in collaborative environments, leads through influence, and is passionate about mentoring teams and driving clarity across complex initiatives. Key Responsibilities 1. Standards & Requirements Excellence • Establish and promote consistent business analysis methodologies, templates, and documentation standards 1. Team Support & Cross-Functional Alignment • Foster collaboration across business units, IT teams, and vendor partners 1. Communication & Stakeholder Influence • Translate business needs into structured, actionable requirements 1. Leadership & Team Development • Lead and mentor a team of 8–10 Business Analysts Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field • 7+ years of Business Analyst experience • 3+ years of experience mentoring or leading Business Analysts • Strong expertise in requirements elicitation, documentation, and process modeling • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills • Experience working with enterprise-level or multi-system environments • Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar ALM platforms Preferred Qualifications • Experience developing or contributing to Business Analysis standards or a Center of Excellence • Background in data governance, data integration, or data quality • Familiarity with testing methodologies and automation tools • Strong data-driven analytical and problem-solving skills
