What Youβll Do
β’ Lead the end-to-end migration of enterprise workloads from on-premise data centers to AWS and Azure.
β’ Apply and implement cloud migration patterns (lift-and-shift, re-platforming, re-architecting) based on workload needs.
β’ Remain deeply technical, providing solution engineering and execution oversight.
β’ Partner with cross-functional infrastructure, product, and business teams to ensure appropriate migration approaches.
β’ Drive the migration of databases (SQL Server, MongoDB) and other enterprise workloads into managed cloud services.
β’ Sequence and orchestrate migrations, mapping dependencies to reduce risk and avoid rework.
Must-Have Skills
β’ Enterprise experience leading large-scale data center exits and cloud migrations into AWS and Azure.
β’ Hands-on expertise in infrastructure engineering and cloud engineering.
β’ Strong understanding and practical application of migration patterns.
β’ Experience serving as the lead engineer for enterprise migrations.
β’ Proficiency with:
β’ CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, Travis CI, Jenkins (with exposure to Harness as target platform).
β’ Hypervisor technologies.
β’ Kubernetes (container orchestration and workload migration).
β’ Terraform (infrastructure as code).
β’ Ansible (automation/configuration management).
β’ SQL Server migrations to the cloud.
β’ Windows on-prem to Azure/AWS migrations.
β’ Linux on-prem to Azure/AWS migrations.
β’ MongoDB migration and modernization.
β’ Monitoring & observability tools: New Relic.
β’ Agile/Delivery management: Jira.
β’ Excellent communication skills to partner across technical and business teams.
Bonus Skills
β’ Experience with FinOps or cloud cost optimization.
β’ Familiarity with DevOps and automation pipelines.
β’ Background in M&A-driven or PE-backed transformation environments.
Why StratITech?
This is a critical role as the lead engineer driving a multi-phase enterprise transformation. Youβll collaborate across teams, guide technical migration patterns, and execute large-scale modernization programs that bring a Fortune-scale enterprise into the cloud era.
